I recently purchased Object Desktop and for the past week have been using the ToDo list widget in DesktopX.
I've come to find it useful and rely on it to make life a little easier.
However, tonight I logged on to find that my todo list items are not there... the widget loads (I set to auto load) and I can see that it's the correct size as if the items where there (about 10-12 items), but it's an empty todo list.

If I click on + to add a new item I don't get the small popup edit item box allowing me to input a name, and rank it's priority. My other two widgets, default shipped core weather and calendar, continue to work normally.

Is the todo list backed up somewhere to a file that I can restore from?
I've tried unloading DesktopX (all) and additionally all 3 of the widgets I run (core weather, todo and default calendar) but to no avail. My big todo list box is there, with no items and no way to readd new ones.

Any suggestions I can follow to give me my list back?

Thanks.

I don't know what is happening but your to do items are stored in the registry: HKCU\SOFTWARE\Stardock\DesktopX\CoreTheme\ToDoList\

Thanks for the location pointer Wizop.

Would you expect to see the individual items in that registry branch? What I'm currently seeing is the CoreTheme branch has one entry named Default(no value set), and the ToDoList sub branch contains Default(value not set), Hue(10), Width(352), XPos(147), YPos(54) and no items from the list.

Thanks

My to-do list also has problems, but not the same one. Mine loads, the process and sys tray icon are there but the list itself is invisible! The opacity is on full (completely visible) and i have tryed everything i can think off without success. WHAT CAN I DO?!?!
